When our little one turns two, it's time to wake up for school admissions in Bangalore!! Once we chose Hennur road LSB is the school we wanted to try first!
We were attracted for the following reasons:
After they explained all this, we were asked to sign up in a form if we are still interested! We were, so we signed in there!
In the next couple of days, we were invited with the child for evaluation of the child. If the child is not comfortable, they allow us as well to enter the montessori classroom with them! My little one wasn't very fluent in English so they asked to accompany! They asked very simple questions, shapes, colors, numbers etc. Don't worry too much about what your kid will do, they didn't seem to really care about right answers. It's all about following simple instructions, whether the kid is ready for school...They were all kind and sweet!
After all this, in about 2-3 days we were called for final interview. Parents alone, there we get a chance to question or discuss again about school. They get clarified on their observations on kid and thats it! We got the admission! Yipee!!!
I liked:
We were attracted for the following reasons:
- They have their own play ground which was our primary criteria for school!
- Campus is beautiful, neat, bright, modern and clean!
- Montessori method of education for first 3 years - This is what we were looking for!
- There is an importance given to understanding!
- Student teacher ratio is ideal here!
- From their website we knew they are trying to do things differently!
Admission process:
- Enrolled for admission in their website
- Followed the school in their FB page - This is how we came to know they are giving admission forms one weekend! Aspiring parents keep checking here as well! Although, heard from fellow parents that they got an email!
- One Saturday the admission form was distributed. One week time was given to submit the filled admission form!
- Week later we submitted the filled in form. The admission form also asked for a write up about what our expectations are about the school.

- Helpers are always ready to help!!
- Kids love to go to school. They keep up their words on treating it as second home!
